Dr. Smith’s 30-plus years of work focused on career and technical education in both the high school and community college settings in South Carolina and New England. She has served on and continues to work with administrator evaluations for the SC Department of Education and has served as an interim principal and principal. Her educational background includes earning her Doctor of Education Administration from California Coast University, her Master of Education from Salem State University in Massachusetts, her Bachelor’s degree in business education from Salem State, an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy from North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA, and her diploma from Addison Gilbert Hospital School for Practical Nurses.
