Mr. Dekker brings a career in aerospace and aviation safety to Polaris Tech, where his expertise helps guide policies related to the school’s aerospace career path. He has almost 6,000 hours of flight time including commercial DC-8 and Gulfstream executive jets. For almost 25 years has worked as Assistant Director of Programs at FlightSafety International, Savannah, GA, where he also is a Pilot Instructor in the Gulfstream I, GIV, GV, G450 and G550. Mr. Dekker holds a Master’s degree in agriculture and landscape design from Professor Hugo de Vries in The Netherlands. He also has earned certificates in management, leadership and project management from FEMA, Honeywell, Stanford and Cornell universities.
