Meet Your Counselor

Dear Parents and Students,

I am Daquan Washington, a native of Hendersonville, SC. (Colleton County). I have been in the educational field since 2007. I've worked in the Colleton County School District in numerous capacities. For the last three years, I have been blessed to work here at Polaris Tech Charter School. This year I have earned the opportunity to work as the school counselor,
serving grades 5th-12th. As the counselor, it is my top priority to ensure that all students are career-focused and college ready.

Our Mission here at Polaris Tech is to unleash potential, cultivate aspirations, and graduate students who are career-focused, college-ready, and invested in the community.
