eLearning Days Plan 2025–2026

This school is designated as an eLearning School. Polaris Tech Charter School meets the criteria established by the South Carolina Department of Education and may use up to five (5) eLearning days during the 2025–2026 school year for short-term disruptions to in-person learning.

Expectations

  • Work: Students must complete academic content aligned with their traditional curriculum. Assignments will be uploaded to Google Classroom, Polaris Tech’s LMS, and must be submitted within 7 calendar days. Incomplete work will receive feedback and opportunities for resubmission, as Polaris Tech operates on a mastery-based continuum.

    • Online Presence: Students are expected to log into Google Classroom and engage in Zoom sessions or i-Ready, as applicable. Participation in teacher “office hours” is encouraged for support.

    • Attendance: Student attendance will be based on log-in activity, submission of work, and engagement with teachers. All students and parents/guardians are informed through PowerSchool/School Messenger, SchoolMint, Class Dojo, and social media. A page can also be found on our website with expectations and contact information.

    • Access to LMS: All students (K–12) access coursework through Google Classroom. Grades K–12 use Google Chromebooks for daily use and eLearning access.

Schedule

Teachers will post eLearning assignments in ECHO by 9:00 a.m. Office hours for direct support will be held via Zoom during specified blocks, such as 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. Daily schedules are shared via Google Classroom and Class Dojo.
